You'll find pathfinding issues while waiting for an elevator just as annoying as the old, undying issue of waiting for a door to be unoccupied, but you'll get used to it and it's a small price to pay. The downtown district is navigated traditionally but has also added a subway system to act as a teleport from one area to the next, making traveling a bit easier. New options are both engaging and addictive and were implemented quite well to complement the original game. The sweeping view of the bustling neighborhood will remind you more of SimCity rather than The Sims, but soon you'll find yourself navigating through it with ease thanks to the care and thought put into this expansion. The Sims 3: Late Night is both an expansion and an upgrade, giving you the tools necessary to build your town into a city or try your luck in the downtown district of Bridgeport. If you felt that previous The Sims games were a little too much about suburban living, you're in for a refreshing change of pace.
